For a beautiful renovation project in Haarlem, I was given the opportunity to create both a layout plan and a 3D design. The house, originally from the 1930s, was in a dilapidated state and had to be rebuilt from the ground up. The house was extended by 2 meters and initially there was no bathroom. Each room layout had to be carefully adjusted until a well-thought-out design emerged.
We then switched to the color and materials plan, in which elegance, unity and tranquility were central. Beige served as the base color, brown as a nuance color and black as an accent color. The house was given a minimalist, modern design while retaining some 1930s style elements, such as stained glass windows.
In the bedroom we have integrated the wardrobe, which is immediately visible upon entering, by using decorative frames and the same color as the wall. This way it becomes more of a harmonious part of the wall, and the frames directly contribute to the desired elegant atmosphere!
Super proud of the end result! Take a look below at the 'before' photos, 3D visualizations and photos of the final realization.
