How nice that you are interested in reading a little more about me! Hi, I am Chrissy de Neve, 36 years old and I live with my sweet boyfriend in Haarlem. We are both big animal lovers, so you may have already seen one of our animals (our dog Cooper and our cats Davy & Charlie) on my social media! In my life I have moved nine times, of which two times I bought a house that I could rebuild from scratch! Most people find moving & renovating very stressful, but honestly I cope very well with it. I could easily move every two years (but my boyfriend is a bit less happy about that haha).

For the past 12 years I have worked with great pleasure and dedication in the e-commerce fashion world. Although I liked this industry, I missed the challenge and noticed that my creative side was not fully expressed. Interior has always been my passion, which is why I decided to change course in 2023 and take a new path in the interior world.

I retrained as an interior designer at the NIA Academy, where I was able to further develop my love for interior design. In addition, I obtained my certificate as Authorized SketchUp Trainer at Design8, the main supplier of SketchUp, among other things. Now I enjoy teaching this powerful design software.

And that's how House of Neve was born in July 2023. Although you pronounce my last name the Dutch way (NEEVE), you pronounce my company name the English way (NIEV). Sounds a bit more fancy ;-).

I am proud to say that I have been able to realize many beautiful assignments and I look forward to creating even more inspiring and unique interiors. Check out my portfolio here !

My preference goes out to working with timeless materials and shades, for long-lasting pleasure. In addition, I find nature fascinating and I also like to see earth tones in my interior. Elegance, peace and warmth are important pillars for me when creating an atmosphere in a space. This is where I feel most at home!

My passion lies in making interior drawings from A to Z. Making something from nothing, I LOVE IT! By means of 2D & 3D designs I help clients visualize their dream home. From color use, materials, layouts to furniture, with a photorealistic interior design you know for sure that you make the right choice for your living wishes! In addition, a well-thought-out design prevents unnecessary revisions, which saves time and money in the final realization of the project.

In addition, I support other interior designers by giving SketchUp training and by taking over the drawing work completely or partially. This allows them to concentrate on other important or more enjoyable aspects of their work. In this way, I help them get the best out of their business.
